Iran‘s unofficial military assets in Syria fired rockets against the US military base in eastern Syria, Mission Support Site Conoco, late on 26 July 2024. US forces then hit a number of the Iranian assets’ positions with airstrikes, which was followed by another round of fire by the latter against US forces. No casualties were reported as a consequence of this exchange of fire.
