Ukrainian special forces conducted a strike on the Russian airbase in Kuweires, east of Aleppo in northern Syria, destroying some of the Russian military equipment there. The strike, in which Ukrainians employed drones, reportedly took place around 25 July 2024.
The Russians have been using the Kuweires airbase since the start of their military intervention in Syria in 2015.
