Some new details have emerged regarding Ukraine‘s support for the Tuareg fighters waging a campaign of resistance against the Russian troops in Mali and the local pro-Russian ruling regime.
Ukrainians reportedly work with the Tuaregs, “providing them with strategic information and training them in the use of drones.” Specifically, in addition to sharing intelligence that helps the Tuaregs in their guerilla operations, the Ukrainians have reportedly trained them “in the handling of small homemade drones loaded with explosives.”
