The Wilson Center’s material from 26 July 2024 provides information on the specific dates of the US, British and French interceptions of Iranians arms shipments to the Houthis on the Iran–Yemen maritime route.
The Western navies have been occasionally intercepting these shipments since 2016. In the period since 1 January 2022, which is the starting date for information shown on the Modern Great Game Map on this website, such known interceptions have taken place in: January, July and November 2022, January-February 2023, and January 2024.

Iran’s unofficial military forces in Iraq continued to attack US bases in August 2024 after restarting such attacks in July following a pause since April. On 5 August 2024, they hit US forces at the Ain al-Asad airbase with a rocket attack.
