Ukraine continues its operations against the Russian military forces in Syria. On 15 September 2024, the Ukrainian HUR military intelligence service special forces hit a Russian military base near the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo city.
The base is used by the Russians to manufacture and test drones. As a result of the Ukrainian attack, the base suffered a detonation of stored ammunition.
