Donbas Area – Southeast and South
West of Selydove, Russians took the southern part of Hryhorivka, and attacked from there towards Petrivka. They also took Novooleksiivka, launching attacks from there towards Yuriivka.
Russians completed the capture of Novodmytrivka, advanced in the space between this village and Novooleksiivka, and rapidly advanced southwest of Novodmytrivka reaching the northern outskirts of Sontsivka.
Russians also continued their advance west of Kurakhivka, taking Illinka, Stepanivka, and part of Berestky. They also controlled most of villages Novoselydivka and Voznesenka at the time of writing.
On the front south and southwest of Kurakhove, Russians advanced southwest of Maksymilyanivka, took at least large part of Antonivka, advanced north of Trudove reaching Uspenivka, and continued to advance in the direction of Rozlyv.
The sum of latest Russian advances in these areas created a threat of encirclement for Ukrainians in Kurakhove and the adjacent frontline.
