US and Britain have continued to conduct airstrikes against the Houthis in attempt to deter and prevent their attacks against warships and commercial shipping passing through the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
On 17 December 2024, the US air force hit a Houthi “command and control facility” in Sanaa functioning as “a hub for coordinating Houthi operations, such as attacks against U.S. Navy warships and merchant vessels in the Southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.”

Another detail emerged regarding the help Ukraine had provided Syrian rebels in their victorious 11-day offensive on 27 November-8 December 2024 that concluded with the fall of the Assad regime.
On 18 December 2024, Intelligence Online reported that “Ukraine has transferred crucial technology to help Syrian rebels wage effective drone warfare,” resulting in “sowing panic among the ranks of the Damascus regime’s forces” during the rebel offensive.
