Ukrainian special operations forces reported they had not seen North Korean troops on the Russo-Ukrainian War frontline since early January 2025.
The North Koreans had been fighting against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, showing themselves unready for the current tactical conditions of the war between Russia and Ukraine, and suffering heavy casualties.
