Israel continued to hit with airstrikes the military infrastructure in south Syria which it had recently declared a demilitarized zone.
The series of Israeli airstrikes on 10 and 11 March 2025 hit targets including “military headquarters and sites housing weapons and equipment,” “radars and surveillance assets,” as well as “army barracks and outposts.”
While no casualties have been reported, likely due to the absence of Syrian personnel on the targeted military sites, Israel is enforcing the demilitarized zone it has declared in south Syria by physically destroying military infrastructure in the area.
