On 22 March 2025, following the firing of several rockets at Israel from Lebanon, Israeli air force and artillery conducted multiple strikes against Iranian asset Hezbollah’s targets in Lebanon.
Hezbollah rocket launchers, infrastructure, weapon storage sites and command centers were among the targets of Israeli attacks.
Israel has been hitting Hezbollah since 7 February 2025 in order to prevent restoration of its capabilities severely weakened by Israel when it defeated Hezbollah in the war concluded in November 2024. The series of strikes on 22 March 2025 was the heaviest Israeli blow against Hezbollah during the period since 7 February.
