On 7 June 2025, the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, told journalists that Russia had been sharing he ability to produce the Iranian Shahed drones with North Korea.
Previously, Russia had successfully created the industrial capability to produce and develop these drones with the Iranian help.
Budanov also shared that Russia and North Korea had jointly improved the North Korean KN-23 ballistic missile.
