Britain and Ukraine announced a deal to jointly produce military drones on 23 June 2025. According to the arrangement, “UK will finance the procurement of a wide range of Ukrainian drones to be produced by British defense companies.”
The produces drones will be delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces while the active phase of the Russo-Ukrainian War lasts. After the war, the jointly produced drones are to be shared between Britain and Ukraine.
Coupling British resources and technology with Ukrainian battlefield experience and practical expertise is set to be productive for the both sides.
