The Battle of Ukraine, Special Issue 251, from 25 August 2025, 13:00 to 3 September 2025, 14:00 Kyiv Time

This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Kursk-Sumy Area

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.

Belgorod Area

No changes were noted in the area.

Kharkiv Area

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.

Kupyansk Area and Donbas Area – North

Ukrainians counterattacked northwest of Kupyansk, retaking large part of village Moskovka, eliminating the Russian presence in the area of Sobolivka, and pushing Russians back in the area of Kindrashivka.

Ukrainians counterattacked in Ridkodub, retaking the village or most of it. A little to the south, Russians advanced in the directions of Derylove and Stavky.

West of Torske, Russians advanced within village Zarichne.

Donbas Area – Northeast

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.

Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka Area

Southeast of Kostyantynivka, Russians took village Oleksandro-Shultyne or most of it. A little to the south, Russians entered village Katerynivka.

South of Druzhkivka, Russians likely completed the capture of village Rusyn Yar, and advanced towards Sofiivka.

Donbas Area – Southeast and South

East of Myrnohrad, Ukrainians counterattacked in Novoekonomichne, retaking much of the part of the village that had been captured by Russians.

Russians advanced south of Pokrovsk, reaching the southern outskirts of the city. A little to the southeast, they completed the capture of village Dachenske.

South of Novopavlivka, Ukrainians pushed Russians back in village Dachne.

In the south, Russians advanced in several directions, reaching villages Novoselivka and Vorone, taking Komyshuvakha and Novoheorhiivka, and reaching Ternove.

Zaporizhzhia Area

Russians advanced north of Robotyne in the direction of Novodanylivka.

Intense fighting continued on the Stepnohirsk-Plavny section of the frontline.

Black Sea-Dnipro River Area

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.
