The United States continues to provide military aid to Lebanon‘s government, stepping up “support for the Lebanese military and intelligence services in their ambitions to disarm” Iran‘s military and political asset Hezbollah.
A central part in this process reportedly has “a team of consultants funded by the US Department of Defense, as well as the British and Canadian governments.”
