A ceasefire in the Iran campaign was enacted on 7-8 April 2026. The US and Israel ceased attacks on Iran, while Iran seized attacks on Israel, the US assets in the Middle East, the region’s Arab states, and commercial ships in the Persian Gulf. The exchange of attacks in Iraq and Houthis’ attacks on Israel seized as well.
The Lebanon theater of the war remained active, however, with Israel continuing its offensive against Iran’s asset Hezbollah in that country.
