New satellite imagery analyzed by the Center for Strategic and International Studies showed on 18 June 2026 that construction had been completed at a signals intelligence facility in Bejucal, near Havana, Cuba, long associated with China, with the new antenna array likely now operational. The array of 32 antennas was larger and more capable than any previously observed Cuban facility of its kind. US officials had recently acknowledged that Bejucal was likely among the sites China operated in Cuba.
